Madeleine

This recipe was given to us by a customer, Marine, whom we thank for sharing

Recipe: FOR 18 MADELEINES
  • Ingredients:
80g butter
2 eggs
60g sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
Lemon zest or orange blossom (optional)
130g flour
1 sachet baking powder
  • Preparation:
Melt the butter, set aside.
Mix the eggs and sugar, add lemon zest or orange blossom.
Add the milk and mix.
Add the flour and mix well, then add the baking powder, and finally the melted butter.
Let the dough rest for a few hours or overnight in the fridge.
Fill the mold 3/4 full.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F)
Put the mold in the oven and lower the temperature to 170°C (340°F), bake for 13 minutes.
Unmold and let cool.
You can keep them for 10 days at room temperature in an airtight container.
👉 tip: for the hump, you need a thermal shock when moving from the fridge to the oven 👈
